How do you define success?
I think anyone can be “successful” — it’s not about a household name. Success can be different to everyone. To me, it’s about waking up everyday and knowing that what you do matters.

Which women inspire you?
My mom. I know it sounds cliche, but she is really the most amazing woman in the world. Everyone who meets her loves her! She is fearless, has the biggest heart, and when she is passionate about something, she WILL get it done. Sara Blakey, the founder of Spanx, is another one of my role models. I’m watching her MasterClass right now, and ’m inspired by her not just because of the empire she has built, but because of her exceptional work ethic and who she is as a person. Elle Woods — I know she’s a fictional character, but she’s very driven, hard-working, and most of all kind. I feel like I really relate to her, and has been my fictional childhood role model for as long as I could remember!

What has been the most rewarding thing since starting out?
When it comes to ANGELIC, I love seeing people wear my products all over the world. I love hearing ANGELIC stories, like how people have worn my shirts on their first or last day of school, how it was the last thing they wore before putting on their wedding dresses, and more stories along those lines. I love walking around and seeing people in ANGELIC (I honestly get emotional all the time when I randomly come across people in my clothes). I am thrilled to receive kind messages about the brand, its purpose, and its philanthropic aspect!
